Calligraphy Basics-Class 3 & 4 (This workshop covers 2 dates)

Add beautiful script writing to your card making skills with this four-part basic calligraphy class! Join Sydnie of Minerva’s Mark for a fun course on how to learn the basics of writing with a brush pen. While calligraphy is easy to pick up, it does take some practice and there’s so much to go over, so we’ve decided to break it down into four parts:

1. Basic strokes
2. Lowercase alphabet
3. Uppercase alphabet
4. Styling basics

For your flexibility, we’ve broken the course into a two-part ticket combo of Uppercase &Styling so that you can only attend the lessons you want to. This is a series that will repeat every month, so if you decide you don’t have time to attend part 2 this month or if you want more time to practice the basics before moving on, you can! However, it is required that you have attended both the Basics & Lowercase lessons before attending either Uppercase or Styling.

The Basics/Lowercase ticket cost includes the workbook, your first brush pen, and any other project materials. Each week you’ll get new sheets added to your workbook to take home and practice what you learned! Starting with the second lesson, we will be making a paper project each week to practice our new skills.

For everyone’s safety, masks will be required if if not able to social distance and we are capping each class to 8 participants.
